Build a local information list you’ll actually use
Keep a few reliable starting points close at hand.
A saved collection of local links can quickly become another pile of things to search through. Keep the first version small: municipal notices, a library starting point, a recreation source and the organisations you already use.
Save the source behind the update
A social post can help you discover something, but save the organiser’s page when you need dates, registration or cancellation information. That gives you a place to check again before making plans.
Record what the link is for
Use labels such as “program registration” or “service notices,” rather than just the organisation’s name. For a recurring activity, note the last time you checked it. Remove old booking links when a season changes.
Keep recommendations separate from facts
A neighbour’s favourite place is a useful lead. It is different from a verified opening time or an accessibility detail confirmed by the venue. Record both, but do not let one stand in for the other.
The municipality’s website is a practical starting point for North Grenville information. From there, follow the current pages for the service you need. A short list you revisit will usually serve you better than a long one you forget.
